Lilliam Martinez, Psy.D., LPC

Dr. Lilliam Martinez completed her Liberal Arts/Psychology Degree from Smith College, a Master's Degree from the University of Connecticut in Educational Psychology and she received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Union Institute & University. She provides individual psychotherapy and conducts supervised psychological evaluations. Her areas of clinical interest includes working with individuals who struggle with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and attachment issues. Dr. Martinez works collaboratively to promote positive changes and enhance daily functioning. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Connecticut Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, and The Association for Psychological Science.

Alyssa Kniering, LPC

Alyssa received her B.S. in elementary school education from the University of Hartford, then in 2016.she received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience treating mood disorders, addiction and other persistent mental health conditions, she has served populations including those from diverse backgrounds and those with limited access to healthcare. She is especially interested in working with clients to address a history of abuse, domestic violence, and other life traumas. She often utilizes creative arts therapy, relaxation techniques, and psycho-education as part of the therapy experience. She works from an integrated approach in order to best meet the needs of each client, as no single approach is the right one for every individual. She is LGBTQ-affirming and clients may seek her support in addressing concerns such as grief, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. When people experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon to feel as though your life is unraveling. She is here to support you in addressing these stressors so that you can know yourself as peaceful, complete, whole, and safe.

Lalitha Pieri, Psy.D., contracted Psychologist

Dr. Lalitha Pieri received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, a Master's in Counseling Psychology from River College in N.H., and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology. She has been a licensed psychologist since 2006 in CA and 2009 in CT. She has over 15 years of experience in providing individual and group therapy, as well as assessment. Dr. Pieri specializes in psychological testing, specifically personality and forensic assessment. Her experience is quite diverse, ranging from the high functioning professional to the severely mentally ill inmate. Dr. Pieri is especially interested and skilled in group therapy, issues with shame, and relationship problems. Her approach is eclectic but is derived primarily from Object Relations, Acceptance Commitment Theory, and spiritual practices.

Mark Meola, LCSW, contracted Therapist

Mark is a graduate of Boston University School of Social Work. He has over 15 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals and families in a wide variety of settings such as traditional office based outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, assertive community treatment, and inpatient psychiatric treatment. Areas of expertise include treating severe and persistent mental health conditions, addictions counseling, understanding the developmental treatment needs of adolescents and young adults, couple’s counseling, trauma treatment and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
